A long, narrow reflecting pool cuts diagonally upward from the lower right, its reddish polished marble base sharply defined. The pool’s still surface reflects a row of tall evergreen trees and three flat blue circular forms floating at its center. The trees stand in square beds of ornamental grass and are lit from below, their trunks and drooping branches glowing blue. Behind them, a two‑story building glows warm gold beneath covered walkways. The tree tops dissolve into the dark night sky. In the lower left, the top of a black strap‑back chair echoes the pool’s strong diagonal. The photograph is presented in a wide white mat within a thin black metal frame.

This artwork focuses on the outdoor landscape of The Getty at night during a museum event. I wanted to reflect the beauty and ambiance of the environment within this photo.
